This tour package includes the gold rush mecca of Dawson City, driving the famous Dempster Highway, visiting a traditional and active Inuit whaling camp on the Mackenzie Delta and exploring the community of Tuktoyaktuk along the Arctic Coast. DAY 1: JOURNEY TO INUVIK
Welcome to Inuvik
Catch your morning flight from Dawson to Inuvik, where your guide will meet you. From here you will be taken on a unique and informative tour to visit the sled-dog kennels.

Learn from a local musher about the dogs and what it takes to successfully train sled dogs. After the dog kennel tour, you will experience a town tour of Inuvik, learning about the Northern community before taking you to your accommodation for the evening.
DAY 2: EXPLORE THE SECOND LARGEST DELTA BY BOAT
Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk
Depart Inuvik for Tuktoyaktuk, in a spectacular boat tour through the second-largest delta in the world, the famed “Mackenzie River Delta!” You’ll visit a bush camp and see a unique way of life here, then continue through majestic scenery, past creeks and channels, spotting unique wildlife along the waterway!

DAY 3: DINNER IN THE WORLD’S NORTHERN MOST GREENHOUSE

This is your free day to explore the magic of Inuvik, and all it has to offer. At 6:00 pm, you will be shuttled to experience your “Taste the Arctic” cultural dinner.

You will start with a tour of the largest and most northern greenhouse in the world. Learn about the history of the greenhouse, the impact of 24-hour day light on the plants, and about the impact it has on this northern community! Following, you will have the opportunity to sample the food that is harvested from the land, and learn about the Inuvialuit history, their way of life, and the rich culture held by the Inuvialuit.
DAY 4: JOURNEY THE FAMOUS DEMPSTER HIGHWAY
The Famous Dempster Highway
Get ready for a drive down the Dempster Highway! We will venture along the Tundra/Taiga from Inuvik towards Eagle Plains. Along the drive, we will stop at the communities of Fort Macpherson, and Tsiigehtchic, while also going across the Mackenzie and Peel River with ferries.

DAY 5: EXPLORE DAWSON CITY, YUKON

A fresh Arctic Morning! You’ll depart Eagle Plains along the Dempster Highway with breathtaking views of the Ogilvie and Richardson Mountains and a stop at the beautiful Tombstone Territorial Park to immerse yourself in the unique wilderness!

Explore rugged peaks, permafrost landforms, and abundant wildlife, all of which are an integral part of the rich First Nation culture. You will arrive in Dawson City, Yukon around 6pm for the evening, when the “City” erupts with energy. Visit any of the local saloons, or try your hand at a game of cards at the oldest Casino in Canada, Diamond Tooth Gerties. Make sure not to miss the Can Can girls performance which happens three times a night at the famed Casino.
